A Few Reminders in Regards to Riding in a Desert:
- Stay Hydrated: Carry plenty of water with you and drink regularly, especially in the desert heat.
- Wear Sunscreen: Protect your skin from the intense desert sun by applying sunscreen before your ride.
- Dress Appropriately: Wear lightweight, breathable clothing that covers your skin to prevent sunburn and minimize exposure to the sun's rays.
- Time Your Rides: Schedule your rides for early morning or late afternoon when temperatures are cooler to avoid the peak heat of the day.
- Know the Signs of Heat Exhaustion: Familiarize yourself with the symptoms of heat exhaustion, such as dizziness, nausea, and excessive sweating. If you experience these symptoms, find shade, rest, and hydrate immediately.
** Please make note that renters are responsible for the retail value of any lost, stolen, or damaged items. All rentals must be picked up and returned to Global Bikes during regular business hours. A refundable deposit (per bike) is required at booking, charged to a major credit card. Rental fees are collected upfront, with a minimum rental period of 4 hours. To avoid any confusion, feel free to inquire about the available size, color, and model year of your desired rental. **

Ahwatukee Bike Rental Location
RMAL, LLC, DBA Global Bikes, Rental Agreement, Terms, Policies & Waiver
Global Bikes (GB), operated by RMAL, LLC, is renting bikes and/or equipment (Items) to the signer, and the signer agrees to the terms and conditions herein. Signer understands and agrees with the following:
GLOBAL BIKES TERMS & POLICIES
There are no refunds after accepting delivery on unused Items. Signer and renting members in their group may not loan, rent, or lease Items to any other person and agree not to take rented items out of the state of Arizona without written permission from GB. Only rented Items will be accepted for return with no modifications made to Items. Items must be returned in the same condition as was received.
Late fees of up to $175.00 per day will be assessed for each Item returned after the due date. Additional fees will be incurred if GB incurs additional time and expense in recovering lost or non-returned Items. Any Items not returned after 48 hours past the scheduled end of the rental will be charged the full retail price plus any late fees. If not paid within 24 hours, the bike will be considered stolen. Return of an Item is complete when bike shop personnel have checked it back in. Participants must inform a GB employee if Items are damaged or not working properly.
IMPORTANT: Renter's credit card may incur an actual charge for each bike as a security deposit at the time of pick-up. The amount varies based on the Item being rented. This security deposit is refunded in full if rental equipment and all accessories are returned in the same condition as when originally provided to the Renter. Even though the refund may be processed immediately upon return, it can take several days to post to the renter's account due to the financial industry process.
Signer agrees to reimburse GB for lost, stolen, or destroyed Items at regular retail rates and will be charged regular shop rates for cleaning or repairing any Items returned excessively dirty or damaged. Signer understands that payment for additional rental fees, late fees, cleaning, repair, or replacement charges will be paid and collected immediately upon return.
GLOBAL BIKES SAFETY RULES
Global Bikes takes safety very seriously, and we need our renters to help us deliver a safe and enjoyable riding experience. Before leaving the GB premises with rented Items listed on this transaction or provided by Global Bikes, signer and/or other renters using Items agree:
To take a quick test ride at the beginning of rental and prior to departing the GB premises to ensure the items are functioning properly and that there are no questions regarding the safe operation of the item.
To examine the items closely, including all safety elements, and ensure proper sizing of all items, including the bike and helmet.
To understand how the items work, including the brakes and other safety features, prior to departing GB premises at the start of the rental.
To check that the tires are properly inflated at the beginning of the rental and periodically throughout the rental period.
To stop using the item IMMEDIATELY if ANY malfunction is noticed or suspected and contact the employee at the GB store where the Item is rented.
To follow all laws while using the Items.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, expressed or implied. That ALL WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE HEREBY EXCLUDED AND/OR WAIVED; That the renter's sole remedy shall be to obtain replacement of the product free of additional charge from Global Bikes.
No modifications of this agreement are valid unless in writing and signed by both parties.
IMPORTANT - Your signature also serves to verify that you have read and already agreed with the TERMS AND CONDITIONS presented during the booking process. Continuing with this transaction by signing serves as the signer's agreement with those terms regardless of any prior opportunity to review or agree.
RMAL, LLC, DBA Global Bikes - Ahwatukee Global Bikes Rental Terms and Conditions
By renting a bike from RMAL, LLC, DBA Global Bikes, the renter acknowledges that they have read and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
Rental Period: The rental period begins at the time the bike is collected by the renter and ends when the bike is returned to the Global Bikes rental location.
Rental Fee: The renter agrees to pay the specified rental fee, which will be communicated prior to rental. This fee is subject to any applicable taxes. There are no refunds after accepting delivery on unused Items, cancellations within 24 hours of reservation, or to account for late pick up/early return of Items.
Security Deposit: A refundable security deposit may be required to cover any damages or losses to the bike during the rental period. The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking.
Payment Terms: Rental fees and security deposits must be paid in full before the start of the rental period, and payment will be made via credit card.
Late Fees: A late fee will be charged for any bikes returned after the agreed-upon rental period. The late fee amount will be communicated in advance. Any Items not returned after 48 hours past the scheduled end of the rental will be charged the full retail price plus any late fees. If not paid within 24 hours, the bike will be considered stolen.
Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 24 hours of the rental start time may be subject to a cancellation fee or loss of refund for rental. Cancellations made more than 24 hours in advance will receive a full refund.
Use Restrictions: The renter agrees to use the bike only for its intended purpose and in a safe manner. The bike should not be used for racing, stunts, or any other reckless activities.
Maintenance and Care: The renter is responsible for maintaining the bike in good condition during the rental period. This includes regular checks of tire pressure, brakes, and ensuring that all parts are securely attached. Renter will reimburse RMAL, LLC, DBA Global Bikes for lost, stolen, or destroyed Items at regular retail rates and will be charged regular shop rates for cleaning or repairing any Items returned excessively dirty or damaged. Payment for additional rental fees, late fees, cleaning, repair, or replacement charges will be paid and collected immediately upon return.
Liability Waiver: The rental company is not liable for any injuries or damages sustained while using the bike. The renter agrees to ride at their own risk and to abide by all local traffic laws and regulations.
Insurance Requirements: The rental fee does not include insurance coverage. It is the renter's responsibility to obtain any necessary insurance for the duration of the rental period.
Ownership: The rental agreement does not transfer ownership of the bike to the renter. The bike always remains the property of the rental company.
Return Condition: The bike must be returned in the same condition as it was rented, with normal wear and tear expected. Additional cleaning or repair fees will apply if the bike is returned excessively dirty or damaged.
Termination of Agreement: The rental company reserves the right to terminate the rental agreement at any time for violation of these terms and conditions or for any other reason deemed necessary.
Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising from the rental agreement will be resolved through negotiation between the parties involved. If a resolution cannot be reached, legal action may be pursued according to the laws of the state of Arizona and/or Maricopa County.
