Lost Dutchman Century Ride Join us! November 23rd, 2024 Early Bird Registration before Nov 2nd includes a free T-shirt! Please register early and help us plan! Ride registration after Nov 2nd will not include a T-shirt however will include the following: - SAG support - Mile 64 Rest stop stocked with all the goodies - Finisher medal - Lunch post ride back at the shop! - Plenty of swag/goodies from our vendors The cost to register is $40 regardless of when you register, so register early and snag a T-shirt! Join us for the return of the "Lost Dutchman Century" ride (101 miles) from Global Bike Shop in Ahwatukee. -E-Bikes are welcome! When: November 23rd, 2024 Meet @ 6:45 am wheels down @ 7:15 am Where: Global bikes in Ahwatukee 3636 E Ray Road Phoenix, AZ 85044 A & B group pace ride. (A-group 19+ mph), (B-group 16-18 mph). There will be one fully stocked SAG stop to fuel up at Desert Mountain Park in Queen Creek @ mile 64. In addition there are plenty of convenience stores along the route for rest stops, to refill water bottles, and they are identified on the route map. Please, come prepared with water, nutrition of some sort, such as snacks, energy bars, gel packs. Have spare tubes and tools that you may need to change a tire. Note: SAG support will be provided. Helmet is required. A road bike is recommended. Some of these dangers include, but are not limited to, traveling on or crossing heavily traveled roads, steep descents, potholes, accidents, unexpected moves of another rider, physical exertion, fatigue, flat tires, and motorists. Ride terrain, pace and distance may vary from the written or verbal description. In addition, mountain bike rides may involve steep descents on heavily rutted roads and/or trails, rock and log hopping, cactus, snakes, or other wildlife. I acknowledge that Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, and RMAL, LLC (all DBA Global Bikes) require the wearing of helmets as well as other safety gear and agree to hold Global Bikes and the ride leaders harmless for any injury resulting from my failure to wear a helmet or other safety gear. The undersigned acknowledges that the risks recited above as well as numerous other dangers are inherent in recreational bicycling, and the undersigned agrees to assume all risks associated with participation in ride activities. The undersigned further agrees to save and hold harmless (following entities are all DBA Global Bikes) Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, RMAL, LLC, and All its’ employees, ride leaders, coordinators, members, and other riders from any liability for any injury or damage resulting from, or in any way connected with, participation in group/store/club activities. I warrant that I am competent to ride safely and that my bicycle and equipment are in safe working condition. I agree to obey all traffic laws and to practice safety and courtesy when cycling. I hereby consent to and permit any emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness. In the case of children under the age of 18, I hereby agree to the terms of the above waiver on behalf of my child/children. I agree that Global Bikes, its officers, activity organizers, employees, ride leaders and other members have no obligation to provide instruction to, or supervision of my children. Lepak, RMAL, LLC, its employees, and agents unlimited permission to use, publish and re-publish in any form of media reproductions of my likeness (photographs or video) with or without identification of me by name.
