Lost Dutchman Century Ride * There is no packet pick up for the Lost Dutchman, our site may ask you at checkout which location you would like to "pick up" your product as this is primarily used for sell products and not event registration. Once paid all you need to do is show up and check in the day of the event. ** If you registered early and got in on the free shirt offer they will be available day of the ride for pick up. Join us! Expanded details: Here it is! Join us for the return of the "Lost Dutchman Century" ride (101 miles) from Global Bike Shop in Ahwatukee. -E-Bikes are welcome! When: November 23rd, 2024 Meet @ 6:45 am wheels down @ 7:15 am Where: Global bikes in Ahwatukee 3636 E Ray Road Phoenix, AZ 85044 A & B group pace ride. (A-group 19+ mph), (B-group 16-18 mph). There will be one fully stocked SAG stop to fuel up at Desert Mountain Park in Queen Creek @ mile 64. In addition there are plenty of convenience stores along the route for rest stops, to refill water bottles, and they are identified on the route map. Please, come prepared with water, nutrition of some sort, such as snacks, energy bars, gel packs. Have spare tubes and tools that you may need to change a tire. Note: SAG support will be provided. Helmet is required. A road bike is recommended. GLOBAL BIKES RMAL, LLC RIDE WAIVER When you attend this event, you are agreeing to the following: While bicycling is an outstanding recreational sport, it also involves risk and even dangers. Some of these dangers include, but are not limited to, traveling on or crossing heavily traveled roads, steep descents, potholes, accidents, unexpected moves of another rider, physical exertion, fatigue, flat tires, and motorists. Ride terrain, pace and distance may vary from the written or verbal description. In addition, mountain bike rides may involve steep descents on heavily rutted roads and/or trails, rock and log hopping, cactus, snakes, or other wildlife. I acknowledge that Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, and RMAL, LLC (all DBA Global Bikes) require the wearing of helmets as well as other safety gear and agree to hold Global Bikes and the ride leaders harmless for any injury resulting from my failure to wear a helmet or other safety gear. The undersigned acknowledges that the risks recited above as well as numerous other dangers are inherent in recreational bicycling, and the undersigned agrees to assume all risks associated with participation in ride activities. The undersigned further agrees to save and hold harmless (following entities are all DBA Global Bikes) Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, RMAL, LLC, and All its’ employees, ride leaders, coordinators, members, and other riders from any liability for any injury or damage resulting from, or in any way connected with, participation in group/store/club activities. I warrant that I am competent to ride safely and that my bicycle and equipment are in safe working condition. I agree to obey all traffic laws and to practice safety and courtesy when cycling. I hereby consent to and permit any emergency treatment in the event of injury or illness. In the case of children under the age of 18, I hereby agree to the terms of the above waiver on behalf of my child/children. I agree that Global Bikes, its officers, activity organizers, employees, ride leaders and other members have no obligation to provide instruction to, or supervision of my children. I give Eighty Hour Weeks, LLC, Alan D. Lepak, RMAL, LLC, its employees, and agents unlimited permission to use, publish and re-publish in any form of media reproductions of my likeness (photographs or video) with or without identification of me by name.
