Details
There’s a reason this is one of CamelBak's bestselling, longest-running packs: it’s got everything you need, and nothing you don’t. The M.U.L.E. has a narrow-gauge design that keeps it light and maneuverable — so even when it’s fully loaded for a day of mountain biking, it won’t get in your way.
- The Crux reservoir delivers 20% more water per sip, with an ergonomic handle for easier refilling, and an on/off lever that makes it easy to prevent leaks.
- Magnetic Tube Trap keeps your tube secure and accessible when you need it
- Air director back panel offers air channels to keep your back cool
- External hooks let you carry your helmet while still allowing full access to your pack
- Stretch overflow storage compartment lets you easily stash a rain shell or extra layer
- Reflective accents for visibility in low-light environments
- Removable stability belt keeps everything in place during bumpy rides

I have had this pack for about a 6 months. I have fallen and rolled over on it, slid down mountain sides and quenched my thirst several times with this pack. I mountain bike in inclement weather and at night. I have managed to strap a rain poncho on the net, pack it with tools, lots of food, First aid kit, bike pump, Tubes, Knife, Flashlight. You can also clip things to the pack. I LOVE the dedicated I-Pod pocket at the top. Its thick and padded to protect my sounds. The back vents do an excellent job at keeping your back cool and dry. The M.U.L.E is all around good

This pack is the perfect combination of between minimalist and packrat. I have used the smallest camelbak's like the razor and the larger ones as well. This one is the perfect mix. Room for pumps, tools, tubes, food, phone, keys, and more. But small enough to keep you on the go.

Comments:
I own an original mule and it is still in great shape after 5+ years of use. If you need to carry water and some tools it is great, however if you need to carry a jacket or other such items the bigger bags would serve you. better. I never ride with out my camelback EVER! I highly recommend Camelback products :)
